Engraved Coasters with Your Own Name
A coaster is a small thing until it has someone's name on it. Then it stops being a coaster and becomes the sort of present people keep, and mention, and put out when guests come.
We engrave every one to order in our workshop in Östergötland — nothing here is bought in ready-made and re-labelled. Choose the motif, tell us the name, and we cut it into the material itself.
Slate, cork or wood
Slate is the same stone that goes on roofs. It is heavy in the hand, dark, and the engraving comes out bright against it. Cold glasses leave no mark on it and it does not warp.
Cork is light, quiet on the table and forgiving with hot cups. The engraving reads as a warm brown against the natural surface. This is the material most companies choose for a logo.
Wood takes a deeper cut, so the motif stands in relief and catches shadow. Our handmade wooden sets are glued up from birch, walnut and rosewood, and no two are alike.
Choose a motif, add a name
Close to 60 dog breeds. Over 40 cats. Horses, moose, bears and fish. Vikings and Norse symbols. Cars, motorcycles and number plates. Beer, whiskey and coffee. Christmas motifs and Midsummer motifs. Or send us your own photograph and we engrave that instead.
Most of them take a name, a date or a line of your own — the horse's name, the dog's name, the year, whatever the coaster is really about.
For companies
Cork coasters engraved with your logo are a corporate gift that stays on the desk instead of going in a drawer. There is no minimum order: five is fine, and so is five hundred.
